I discovered yoga in middle school, creating my first "studio" in a corner of our small San Diego apartment. With no mat and just a little bit of space, I foundĀ a fascinating playground and safe haven inside myself.Ā This practice became my anchor through raising four children, a demanding medical research career, and eventually my path through anxiety, panic attacks, and PTSD.
I left corporate life for deeper study atĀ Santosha SchoolĀ in Indianapolis, discovering Ayurvedic practices that transformed my relationship with my mind and body. Now I share these tools through teaching, writing, and community buildingāinviting others to discover their own path from surviving to flourishing.
